Biography:  Turan Özdemir (October 11, 1952, Muğla – January 15, 2018, Istanbul),

Turan Özdemir was born on October 11, 1952 in the town of Yatağan, Muğla. He graduated from the theater department of Hacettepe University State Conservatory. After working at the Izmir State Theater for a while, he settled in Istanbul. Since 2001, he has been in front of the camera and took part in many movies.

Turan Özdemir became the leading actor of the movie named Dondurmamam Gaymak, whose cast was made up of citizens of Muğla and was shot in Muğla again, and made a breakthrough with this film. He played the character of the teacher Hasan Pasha in the series Filthy Seven. In addition to acting in films and TV series, Özdemir also acted as a voice actor. In 2006, he received the Best Actor Award at the 13th Golden Boll Film Festival with the character Ali in Dodurmam Gaymak.
