Elçin Sangu was born on August 13, 1985 in İzmir. She is of Circassian origin and has natural red hair. Turkish actress and model.

Sangu, who completed his university education in Mersin University Opera Department, started to appear as an actor in the TV series after he studied acting at Sahne Tozu Theater.

He was first known in 2011 as the character Jale in the TV series called Such A Passing Time. Between 2012 and 2013, he played Nehir in Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer. From 2013 to 2014, she starred as Eda in the South Korean television series I’m Sorry, the Turkish adaptation of I Love You, Bir Aşk Hikâyesi.

In 2014, he played Güzide in the historical drama series Kurt Seyit and Şura, shot in Russia, Turkey and Ukraine. Following the TV series Sevdam Alabora in 2015, he made his big breakthrough in the same year by reviving the character of Defne in the series Rent Love with Barış Arduç.
